Line Editing
Focus is on the sentence and paragraph levels by refining word choice, flow, rhythm, and voice so your writing reads the way you intended it to. Line editing isn’t worried about fixing grammar (copyediting) or restructuring your story (developmental editing). It strives to make every sentence do its job well, so nothing pulls the reader out of the story. You'll receive an annotated manuscript with inline edits and margin comments.

Copyediting
Focus is on sentence structure, grammar, style, and clarity. You'll receive a style sheet and an annotated manuscript with comments and tracked changes. If an edit isn't straightforward, I'll provide options for your consideration. This helps keep your writing clean and consistent while maintaining your voice.

Proofreading
The final polish. I'll annotate your near-final manuscript for any typographical errors, formatting issues, and last-minute inconsistencies so you can publish or submit with confidence.
